It is part of the NET's initial system, and is situated in the middle of the short two stop single line branch between Highbury Vale and Phoenix Park tram stops. The stop contains a single platform, situated in a cutting between two bridges. The stop is on the former alignment of the Cinderhill Colliery Railway to the old Babbington Colliery, which is now the site of Phoenix Park.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 Nottingham Express Transit : Tram Stops : Cinderhill )〕〔 Viewed for appropriate area with unitary authority ward boundaries and names selected.〕 With the opening of NET's phase two, Cinderhill is now on NET line 2, which runs from Phoenix Park through the city centre to a terminus in Clifton.
